Cañón del Sumidero

Today we have a great day ahead of us.... ;)

This time we have to wait a long time for the bus. And after a view minutes riding the bus we drive to the side of the road. A guy from Argentina did take a wrong bus, so we have to wait for him.

This time we get the last row of seats for our own. In front of us sit 2 guys from Kuwait and on the right side a girl from Poland. We start to talk almost the whole ride to the canyon.

There we have to wear swim wests and sit to the boat. The captain of the boats wants to reseat us.

So we take off. The bridge (belizario dominguez) in front of us marks the entrance of the national park.

You can see vultures drying their feathers at the shore .

And also crocodiles. They are obviously the reason, why we cannot go swimming... ;)

And they say, that this looks like a seahorse, can you find it?

This view represents the Chiapas state seal.

;)))))))))

Really nice play with the sun.

We also came across the Arbol de Navidad  (Christmas Tree), which is usually a waterfall.

At the end of the trip we reach the water power plant.

Then we go back to Chiapa de Corzo, where they are currently having a festival from 8. January to 24. of January.

This time I have Yellow Curry. Which is really nice.  Kasia recommended that restaurant.

Back home again in San Christóbal.

After eating we just have enough time to buy some presents...

Way later we go into the City again to have a drink before taking the bus north.
