Parque Museo La Venta - Tabasco
This morning we do not have the car and because it is raining, we decide to go to see the big Maya stone heads in the museum. So we make our way to the bus station. On the way along we come across some blue crabs.
So we take the bus to Villahermosa, the capital of Tabasco.
The Parque Museo La Venta is a zoo and a museum at once. The have all kinds of local animals like, birds, monkeys, crocodiles and and and.
A grave.
Birth is given out of the cave from the underworld.
So this is the most famous stone head of the maya.
The famous crocodile that once managed to escape during a flood.
Those are running around free in the park.
When we came back to the down Carlos dad takes us to a restaurant for seafood. His parents are really really nice. As starters they serve oysters, which are completely free.
Shrimp cocktail looks really different then I would know it.
I'm having shrimp soup.
Shrimp tortilla.
crabs.
Later we head out to have some drinks with Carlos friends. They have like a big party garage. It has a bar, toilets and a lot of space to have fun.
We drive home at about 5 am. ;)
